There are two types of files that you can download. MP3 at 192 Kbps, and WMA Lossless. Both of these file types are included in the sale of an individual song, so that after purchase, either file type may be downloaded at your leisure.

WMA Lossless files are mathemetically lossless, and can be easily converted into wave format, or any other format. One easy way to do this is with itunes (which is free). When opened in itunes, it will automatically convert a WMA lossless file to whatever format is currently selected as its importing format (changable in 'Preferences' under 'Advanced' and then under 'Importing').

All the recordings made in June and July of 2006, were recorded with a fostex mr-8 with its internal mono microphone.

The recordings made in August 2004, and December 2007 and January 2008 were made with a Fostex mr-8 with a much higher quality stereo microphone (Realistic Stereo Electret - Dual Pattern Stereo Electret Microphone System 33-919A 6000).
